Reclaiming Leadership Formation for the Whole Church
I work with theological educators and denominational leaders to rethink leadership formation so more people can participate meaningfully in the life and the ministry of the church.

Ministry has become increasingly professionalized
In many contexts, this has unintentionally created a gap between “trained leaders” and everyone else. As a result, many people feel unsure of their role, under-equipped, or excluded from meaningful participation in ministry.
I work with church leaders to rethink leadership formation so more people can participate meaningfully, and perhaps bivocationally, in the life and ministry of the church.

Formation must widen, not narrow, the church
My work challenges assumptions about who gets to lead, how leaders are formed, and what counts as “prepared” for ministry.
I focus on reimagining leadership formation so the whole people of God can participate in the work of the church.
